The Place
Overall the restaurant has a very complete menu. I've been here for breakfast many times and it is always good. The skillets are great and the omelettes never disappoint. The portion sizes are very generous.
Great service and food. I got a half grilled chicken sandwich and homemade chicken noodle soup - more than enough for lunch and delicious!
The Service/Experience/Value
Liberty Family Restaurant is located in Peru, Illinois close to the intersection of Rt 251 and Shooting Park Road. There is ample parking in their lot and this restaurant is handicap accessible. Great for large groups or elderly patrons. The restroom are due for an update. Very much a family atmosphere... where everyone knows your name. Definitely one of the best or the best breakfast option in town.

Your basic family style restaurant. Staff is friendly and food comes out quick. Dining room is clean enough but the bathrooms are pretty dirty regularly. Prices are fair. Foods not the greatest but what do you want for the money? It's good for a quick meal.
I am a traveling salesman, and normally I eat light lunches. It was a gloomy day and had an appetite, so I decided to try this place. I'm glad I made the choice as the lunch special was a great price and the portions were sizable. The staff was great and I recommend this place if you are looking for simple, homestyle comfort food at a great price, then I highly recommend coming here.

Great food & service. Dessert showcase with large variety. Dining area tables are not scrunched together. Plenty of room.
