I'm a new shopper at HyVee and I love it. The atmosphere is bright and upbeat,very helpful employees. Almost every isle I was greeted and asked if I need any help. The meat department is addictive! So many amazing varieties. When I was done shopping,I stopped in the restaurant and I was very cheerfully greeted by a young lady Trinity. The food Is delicious! I came back for breakfast the next day and had a great waitress Kelly! I will be a regular patron from now on!
Usually I love this place and the deli by far is the greatest part of this store, they are always friendly and provide clean, fresh cut meat and great customer service. Same goes for the fresh cut meats and where the food cooking stations are! Most of the employees that help you find things are fantastic I will say not all know where things are but they are willing to help you find it which is all I cam ask for, literally! But the people who stock the fruit are rude and do not care about products. I spoke to a guy while he was stocking and let him know the fruits are bruised and are not fresh and have gone bad and some even squished all over the bottom of cartens and molded some. Just not appealing and he was rude and had the OK w. E let me just do my job attitude and then had a guy look at them who looked so confused, I've bought fresh cut fruit and it has been bad, some tasted good and some straight up rotten. There fruit is never 100% fresh like it claims, maybe the new management no longer cares as much or maybe who ever owns it doesn't but the fruit looks like they just throw it around and even if a berry is squished they don't clean it out and at least sell the package they leave it in there to make others sticky and for it to go bad and mold up. That's nasty, they sell alot of bruised up products and it doesn't taste right. My biggest concern and issue is literally the veggie and fruit department. Other than that it's fantastic there

I would like to recommend the staff and Joy the coordinator at Hyvee. They did an exceptional job for my sons wedding. There was great comments on the food. It was fresh and cooked perfect. The set up was good. They never let anything go empty. And to finish the job, they cleaned up.!!! I will recommend them to anyone that asks.
Food selections are great. We love the marketplace where you can both enjoy a variety of food booths and salad bar and have a sit down dinner
